Ah. I couldn't see much difference between that and the Select, tbh. I already have cheap breakdown assist and as for loan car, I'd use the wife's Astra. I have a feeling the full warranty was more time and mileage limited than the Select, although I don't have the small print to hand.

Yes, thanks for the post. Approved warranty only covers up to five years. Select goes up to 10 years BUT only covers 25k miles from inception. Hadn't noticed that before - I'm going to have to take a look at my paperwork.

Edit: Just checked and it's 25k miles per year. I'm not likely to hit that!

Do you know what work the dealer did? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Replaced the diff. Sounds like they reworked it the first time round, which is not what I was told then, which is quite annoying to be honest
