I had a similar issue 12 months ago when mine dropped half way to low level. It was still within warranty so took it to main dealer. They topped it up and checked for leaks but reported non found. I asked them to remove under tray and check again - which they did - still nothing found. Maintained full level since. Silver 2009 HSE |

Squeeze the rubber gaiters on the steering arm, it's gathering in there, and means a new steering rack.

I had the same issue, topped up the fluid and it's been fine ever since.

Last time I filled up was about 6 months ago, that was the only time I had to fill it up....

If it's just the once, and only dropped half an inch or so in the reservoir then it could be that the wheels are turned slightly compared with the previous time you checked. Ours does fluctuate now and again slightly.
