I must say I love the look of the Xenon LED sidelights I got off ebay. A real eye catcher with that nice xenon blue tinge. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I tried a pair of these today and the nearside one flashes. Did you have to fit a resistor? They do look good, but they point upwards becuase of the way the lamp holder fits in the headlight. I swapped them over & still flashed nearside.

Going off topic a bit, I was impressed with the report of CREE LEDs so I got a CREE rear stop/tail LED to see how bright it was (if good I was going to order another one). The assembly appears very well made and the wide angle seems to do the job. However, although the brake light worked (very bright) the side light did not. I checked it in both rear light housings. I contacted the suppliers who told me I need to "reverse the polarity" which is clearly |

Hello, no resistors needed had them for a little while now with no issues (MY12). Possibly got one that’s gone wrong? Contacts HIDs Direct they have excellent customer service. I had a similar sort of issue with some other LEDs I got from them, they sent me a new one next day with a stamped addressed envelope to send back the faulty one. ![]() ![]() |

Would be really interesting to see how you get on! I want to do this but not sure the new LED's will be bright enough. ![]() |

Thanks Stownrow. They sent me a resistor ? but you did nit need one ? Dont like the idea of cutting up the loom. These came today and work fine, but the one's you got look better when looked at through the lens.
