Retrofit electric adjustable seats

Hi

Has anyone retrofitted electrically adjustable seats please? I have a GS with manual, none heated seats.

I find the 3 way adjustable manual seats rather limited-I want to move the front of the squab up, but there is no adjustment for this.

I am not that fussed about the memory feature, but understand this could link to the mirrors (and does it dip the mirrors when in reverse too?).

Any ideas on sourcing, and matching the trim, also appreciated.

Regards Rob I was a happy Freelander 1 owner for 10 years, now a happy Freelander 2 owner.

Quite a few members had the electric seat base fitted under warranty to replace the "sinking" manual seat base. Not sure how that works and whether the electric seat wiring is present, but some older posts may have the info you need. I suspect you need to remove the seat cover and replace it on the new base.
