Another bad day

While I was at work this afternoon (gardening) some Censored came round into the back garden and stole my tools while i was cutting the grass!!! 2k worth of stihl gear gone I'm now officially broke!! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

Cheeky git!
Are you insured at all?

Im sorry to hear that, make you want to chop their hands off !

bit late now but have you seen one of these ? I have one on my garage wall. Video recording image quality is fantastic. just uses SD card.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ESP-GuardCam-Secur...amp;sr=8-1

only £75.00

the picture below is only a screen shot of video captured at 02.40 in the morning when someone fancied a Landrover.

day time quality is fab

not shown faces for obvious reason

best of all it just looks like an outside lamp as the landrover thief found to his cost ! it was better quality than my CCTV with infared night zoom ! that cost £1000.

I was going to get one of those camera light a while ago, shame something has to happen to let you know it might have caught something, as you have know other reason to watch the footage, I like the CCTV that can email you a pic if it's tripped, rather get 50 emails of kids in the garden playing, then one of a scroat having a look about at X O'clock Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Old geezer you got ripped off. I install CCTV, an install with 4x 620tvl IR cameras and hard drive connected to your router would not cost more than £400 for the kit. And they are bloody good change over cameras at night!

My CCTV I can watch live from anywhere in the world but the quality of the £75.00 can excels in every way !
I just check it every three months and just load the files up as large icons, never bother watching day time ones just if someone has been round at night.
sensitivity set very very low so don't get loads of blank files.

I change the bulb to a 15 watt economey bulb and its sufficient and just squeezed in the recess.
the 200w bulb it comes with is too bright.

cheers Landy.
i had 4 night super zoom camera's and the quality is good, but just cant beat the camera mounted on the wall.

Mines straight to a hard drive and hard wired as my neighbour had his via a router and it was always a nightmare with connections and three times when I was burgled in Sussex the phone cables underground were cut first rendering a router useless. Very Happy

Unfortunately you can't insure them in a public place only if they are locked up! And seen as my tools were with me in the back I didn't think there would be a problem, I'm now well and truly up the creek without a paddle! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

I use a roadhawk camera

http://www.findagarage4u.co.uk/Garage/97

I have one in each car and they are 4 years old now and excellent kit.

so when an inexperienced driver suddenly changes lanes at a roundabout and you hit him from behind and he claims you ran into him a video tells a very different story ! job done and excess saved
