The trims just push in and clip normally. They give you a knife shaped plastic tool, in the roof rail kit, to remove them. Maybe yours have lost their clip function, edges worn. You must be driving too fast!! Laughing

I removed my roof bars off first FL2 and refitted on second FL2 Thumbs Up

It was simple and just replaced plastic trim on roof - just stuck on with double sided tape Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Double-sided tape sounds like the answer. Will have another look when (if) it all dries out.

Agree FL1 was easy on/off but not FL2 on account of drilling trim - don't know cost of trim as I traded in with holes left and dealer replaced trims before selling Thumbs Up

Double sided tape used looked like sort you would use on number plates Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Yes it's double sided tape - once I levered it up I could see the old tape which had given up. Bought a roll of tape from Halfrauds and it's been fine since. Didn't really need the tool - just used a fingernail.
