The trims just push in and clip normally. They give you a knife shaped plastic tool, in the roof rail kit, to remove them. Maybe yours have lost their clip function, edges worn. You must be driving too fast!! |

Double-sided tape sounds like the answer. Will have another look when (if) it all dries out. |

thinking of removing mine , had a FL1 3 door sport and taking bars off was a 5 min op , is it easy to put them on when needed , How much are trims? |

Agree FL1 was easy on/off but not FL2 on account of drilling trim - don't know cost of trim as I traded in with holes left and dealer replaced trims before selling

Yes it's double sided tape - once I levered it up I could see the old tape which had given up. Bought a roll of tape from Halfrauds and it's been fine since. Didn't really need the tool - just used a fingernail. |
