New Tyres 235/65/17 - General Grabber At

Just ordered some General Grabber At's, not planning on going off road too often (at the moment Wink)

Have heard some very good things about them, and apparently there is no noticeable differences in noise and economy so makes sense to be prepared just encase.

Although they are not winter tyres they should be very good in the winter weather that we get.

I will post some pictures, opinions and ware figures here if anyone is interested.

Jon

A good friend from school owns a tyre business with his dad so get all my tyres from him, he always gives me prices I am happy with so not sure how much yet.

I will see what price he will do forum members and put it up here once I am sorted.

Well got them fitted today, very pleased, nice ride, no increase in road noise.

The price for 4 is £460 including vat fitting balancing etc, (£115 each)

Note that's the price for the 17inch wheels not sure if there will be any difference for other sizes.

If your interested the number is 01642 601600 and ask for David.

Jon

EDIT: Just to add, he can get them in over night for 11 the next day.

My price was slightly cheaper Wink

The £460 is the price he gave for forum people.

(Hope I am not breaking any forum rules here, apologies if I am)

Update

Getting well on the way to 1000miles covered since putting these on now, very happy with them, feel smoother on the road than my old goodyears (they didn't have much tread depth when I got the car so could be much better new)

Haven't had them off road yet but will report back.
