Three and a half years, 96000 kms -60000 miles - very happy, would certainly buy another. Pretty satisfied with the dealership as well. It's not been fault free, but it has got me where I wanted to go and brought me back. More reliable than most cars I've owned. |

52000 miles in 2 years. Love the Freelander and am poised to buy another. Sadly the dealers treat you like an inconvenience, even when trying to buy a new one. Maybe they treat range rover customers better?? Because of this am now looking around at what else is on offer so I may end up in another brand after all. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc

Yes in answer, I've only had mine a month, but the actual car (Reliability Issues Aside) its the most wonderful car I've owned. I've had 11 cars in 9 years but this one is staying. I have taken out extended warranty which will probably be "sorry sir, this isn't covered" for most of the day to day stuff but its a nice peace of mind if I'm suddenly landed with an engine replacement bill etc.

3years on and I still smile every time I see a germanic interpretation bouncing along (they are so uncomfortable on anything other than a motorway).

haha they can be chipped to be pretty powerful, think I saw a youtube vid of one out running a ford focus or something once. like you say though most people who own them don't buy them for racing qualities. I've been through that phase and its long behind me thank you! (plus I have a bike for that if I desire ) |

Have to say, we are on our 3rd FL2 and we love them. Fans of LR in general tbh.

Can I recommend Beadles Land Rover Sidcup. Speak to Paul Bradley, he is a consummate professional and having just bought our 8th LR from him, I have nothing but praise for Beadles. Not all dealers are - might be time to try a different one? Best, Steve MY13 Freelander 2 HSE Lux Santorini Black MY13 D4 HSE in Nara Bronze MY08 G4 D3 Original in Tangiers Orange of course! Big Alsation called Abbs |

Reassuring to read positive comments, I've been browsing the site for a while & tend to see plenty of problems being brought up. (I know people are more likely to complain than praise)

Yes, don't take the negative comments into account only as there are some happy bunnies on here also. I bought mine from new and nearly three years later with 42,000 miles it's been trouble free. |
