Obviously, the interior is what they are hiding and must be most excited about for the MY2013. I don't like the shiny surrounds on the front though. Maybe they look better in person but from the picture it looks like someone painted it the wrong colour. 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame. |

Mauritius Blue, seen an Evoque in that colour, with a white roof, looked smart, not sure it suits the Freelander though.

I thought they may go for the rising gear knob but autocar have shots of the MY 2013 RR Sport and they say RR have gone back to a proper gear stick for the 8 speed ZF box Sport, so it looks as though the Freelander will stick with that |

On a recent LRE, we tried failed hill climbs, try getting the rising gear knob into reverse quickly in an emergency.

Many friends of mine here in the US who were proud of their Infiniti G20s seemed a little put off when I complimented them on how nice their Nissan Primera looked. CAR HISTORY 1997 Saab 900 SE 2.0 Turbo 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE 2.3 I6 |

Thinking of changing for a 2013 FL2 in Barolo black but have been told that black shows stone chips more than any other colour. would welcome any comments as I have not owned a black car since my A30 in the sixties when stone chips were not such a problem |
