Radio on and no sound

hi guys,

need your input on this one...

just purchased a MY10 FL2 with the 6 button std radio
I had all the software upgrades done 4 days ago...

today the radio came on and was functioning 100% - without sound.
And the rear parking sensors were also not functioning..

then after i parked for a while all is well.

any ideas ?

Mine does this sometimes.
Seems to be if you put the key into the dock, and press go immediately without a couple of seconds delay, but not always.
I try and remember to wait after inserting the key.

seems like a step backwards !
already i have tu put a key in and press a button (2 steps)..
now i even have to wait between the steps !

odd that the high end radio seems to be fine.

UPDATE:

it seems to do this every time that i stop the car and leave it unlocked.
I come back and start it (even following the slow steps)... but the radio and parking sensors are gone.

I park the car and lock it... and by magic they are back upon my unlocking the car again.

any ideas ?

UPDATE:

Land Rover Italy contacted me, as they were notified by Liam of my radio problem.
The nice lady said that she will open a case with LR UK.
This was a couple of months ago... still no answer.

in the meantime.... sometimes when i start the car, the clock started to disappear on the radio display.
I switch off and restart the car, and all is ok... the clock reappears on the radio display
this has started approx 3 weeks ago.

any ideas ?

I think it may be worth pulling the radio unit out and making sure all the plugs are connected correctly.

@ SYFL2

I suspect its a software issue more than anything

I suggest that either the the plugs into the radio need reseating or the radio has become faulty after the software upgrade which is more likely what has happened. The parking sensors are routed through the radio via the canbus so it would make sense that if you were having radio problems they would be affected as well.
