Yes it was getting boring... I think they are trying to improve by introducing the new rules...

The "races" are becoming processional, little action to speak of.

The FIA are now looking at Red Bulls engine maps, seems as though they have a map that reduces torque under some conditions, effectively cutting wheelspin, this could contravene the traction control regs, expect an engine map regulation soon |

The throttle mapping was regulated along with the exhaust outlet shape to reduce the gas the difuser was being fed which increase downforce. Looks like Red Bull have found a way of flowing the gas around the bodywork to do the same thing. Adrian Newey is very clever! |

Jenson's pit stop was quite incredible - a very well oiled machine!

You guys must be watching a completely different season to me. Granted, the days of Mansell and Senna (and even Hill and original Schumacher) were great, but compared to a few years ago, this season is great!

DRS is available for a car even if the car in front is a lap behind - so not really much different to the situation Lewis was in... I believe the DRS rule is to be just within one second of th ecar in front - as that is the one you wish to pass... The trouble is most circuits don't really have enough places where passing is really possible at the speeds they all drive.. consider that the in Q3 all 10 cars are usually within a second or two from 1 - 10 2002 Honda VFR800 2002 Toyota Celica 140 Silver (mid life crisis - again!) 2007 FL2 GS Manual Army Reconnaissance Green + freel2.com sticker 2004 Toyota Celica 140 Black - Gone 2000 Toyota Celica 140 Silver - Gone 1998 Toyota Celica ST Pearl Green - Gone 1996 Nissan Primera 1.6 - Gone 1994 Rover Montego 1.6 Auto - Gone |
