Thanks a lot Greg! The fun bit is training them to stay in the boot with the week's shopping (fresh meat and all) and leaving them alone without them touching a thing! In 18 years we've lost only 1 yogurt! Mind you, Pip (Ben's predecessor) was particularly found of yogurt and it did fall on him and the lid split open in the process, so I'll let him off that one |

We've just lost one brand new sweater, Lord knows how many shoelaces, three pairs of shoes, two pairs of trousers, one Otterman, two shirts and several holes in the front lawn.

Thanks You're right to take a cage of course; Ben and the others before him have needed training from a pup to do what they do. Have a great holiday and enjoy TWIG's company. I couldn't imagine going on holiday without at least one Border Collie with us now! |
