Tell me about it - I got the caravan to get away from work at weekends and for pub lunches/walks in the country but every time we go away SWMBO drags me around shops

Never had the 'shopping' misery my wife can't stand shopping, jostling around and navigating the aisles, she much prefers the moors, the hills, the countryside walking. In fact she'd rather walk on her own cos when I talk it ruins her peace and quiet

Oh don't get me wrong. She loves the hills etc but for some reason pottery shops are irresistable.

Top recomendations there. I'm currently in Bishop Auckland area and took the above advice... wow High Force waterfall was stunning after the recent rains...the drives suggested are beautiful and can thoroughly recomend the tea room at Killhope mine (you don't need to pay the admission fee to use the tea room) - great home cooked food there. |
