Im a coward I choose the go round the flood setting. although I once drove my defender thru flood water so deep that I thought water had fused the headlights, turned out it was the bow wave of dirty water obsuring the light from them. |

If you go by the book then you should use the setting that suits the material on the bed..........don't think I get a mars bar for that do I? |

I agree with Gambba - use the setting for whatever is on the bed - if you can tell what that is.

That was when 4x4's were tough as old boots and had nothing youy couldn't fix yourself, but also you didn't care if the footwells were flowing with water. I would hate to think of water in my footwells on my LR2.......can't even stand dust on bonnet! |
