Hi All

I am about to order a FL2 SE which comes with a part leather interior, but I would like Caspian Blue as a exterior colour. According to the interior/exterior colour combination chart Caspian Blue is only available with Ebony/Ebony or Alpaca/Alpaca interiors both being full leather, an option on the SE. Does this mean that Caspian Blue is only available if a full leather interior is specified, or is the interior/exterior colour char wrong?

From pics I've seen, Caspian Blue looks amazing. I don't have a brochure that includes this exterior colour, so I don't know if all leather is your only option.

However, when I ordered my TD4 SE in Stornaway grey, I surprisingly ended up ordering full leather anyway, as I really did not like the colours or fabrics used with the half leather upholstry option. I have never regretted getting alpaca as it so lightens the interior.  Life is not a dress rehearsal!

I have seen a Caspian Blue FL2 and liked it a lot, but I don't like or want a full leather interior, part leather is bad enough. So the question still remains is Caspian Blue not available on XS and SE models without a full leather upgrade.

Simple answer, you can't have a standard XS or SE interior with Caspian Blue, only the optional full leather.

How very bizarre ..... why on earth would LR introduce that constraint on one exterior colour?  Life is not a dress rehearsal!

Yep I Know - The dealer tried to spec the car on the Land Rover system only to be told remove either Reel/Alpaca or remove Caspian Blue.

Good job I have a second choice

Perhaps you could remove Freelander 2 and take a Range Rover? You get more choices for the interior.

Just came back from my winter holiday in the mountains, so I have just seen this post.

I have Caspian Blue (check my gallery), and I am very pleased with the color.
Interiour: Alpaca. Very satisfied with that also. Think it looks classy.

What can I say? I am happy with my choice, but you have to go for what you like. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.
