Just like to say thanks very much for organising a meet and wanting to do something for a good cause.
I will try to get there but im on work the sat & sun. (I feel a bad back coming on.)

I have just finished my demo of a MY2012 TD4 GS, and signed the paperwork for a replacement vehicle for October. My first AWD, and therefore I will be needing lots advice to keep me within my limits.

So my first mistake was the colour, can you tell what it is yet?

Apart from light falling into it, and it being the favoured ship colour for Hotblack Desatio, what are the issues with the non-colour? Swirls etc or something more fundamental?

As Mrs Jim drives a FL2 I thought that I would pop over from the RRS site (my car) and join up.

Since joining the RRS site I have found that a wealth of information is available with regards to problems, upgrades and general ownership, so its about time that I made full use of the FL2 site.

Hey folks, just thought I'd introduce myself. My wife and I pick up a Freelander 2 on Friday (09 plate GS) and its our first 4x4. We have got rid of both our cars and opted for one family car as we have our first child on the way.

I've always joined the owners forums with my previous cars and try to contribute as well as take away the invaluable wealth of knowledge available.

I'm sure I'll be on here looking for parts/advice.... Etc soon.
