Last week when removing a parcel off the back (Drivers side) seat, I happened to notice that the door seal (Not the one on the actual car door, but the seal that surrounds the door aperture) had developed a distinct "wave" along the top. The actual rubber seal was moving away from the body framework. The same was happening to all door seals.

On my car one rear door only. It's not the main body opening seal but a narrow stuck on one on the right of the photo, mine has started to detach itself and deform, no big deal until I have to go to the dealer next.

Have tried punching it back up with the back of your hand or fist, i'm sure they fit into a groove around the door frame a bit like how the wheel arch rubbers fit into position. |

Yes, I've pushed them back into the original position, but after a couple of days they distort again.

They wont be oversize, you have to make sure they are knocked on well into the corners first as that is where they are likely to pull away to begin with if anywhere, use a rubber mallet. |

Pull the old one off, line up the new one so the centre gripper part is over the body seam, then push the new one on working your way around the frame, easy.

Thankyou Nodge - easy change as you said. I bought a new old stock seal from ebay for little more than scrappers were selling them for. |
