Well after ranting and raving in the most obscene Swiss dialect she switched on her Doc mode. Couple of injections directly into the wound to anaesthetize the nerve endings and she set to - nearly an hour later she'd finished her handycraft. Sutured both the entry and exit wounds, then immobilised my fingers and thumb to prevent any movement from stretching the wounds. She said the exit wound should heal without a visible scar (back of hand) but the skin fold ridge line between the thumb and first finger could well be permanently disfigured - followed by the comment: "Serves you right you oaf". So no driving for some time. Jolly good - means I can skive off domestic duties, but one handed (right) typing on iBook is a bore. |

Snowfoamed, arches pressure washed, full coat of Jett all round, feet up with a glass of red, that'll do for tonight. |
