Agree that the rear spolier looks very good: I'd seen them fitted along with the full rear body kit in the LR showroom but not on their own. What is the fixing method please?

Thanks

Drew

I am not sure of the part number but i recall Carlfraz saying his cost £290 including painting and fitting

No reason why your dealer could paint it TF Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

According to the box the part is LR002464. They come primed but not painted. I picked one up cheap from a dealer but without brackets, bolts or instructions. Brian has kindly provided instruictions, now I'm just on the look out for brackets and bolts. If anyone has any spare brackets or bolts, or even any codes/part numbers for them then please let me know! There was a guy selling one on ebay recently, but it too was incomplete.

Spoiler on ebay in Stornoway Grey. Would check it includes the fitting bolts as I don't think it mentions them in the description. Item no. is eBay Item No. 320220279840 or link below. DT

Mmmmm.......

spoiler has been on a vehicle which is why the self adhesive padding is peeling off, this could easily be removed and new tape or padding fitted. There are also 2 brackets to clamp the spoiler in place which will be supplied with spoiler.

Can you get hold of the adhsive strips that are strong enough for this purpose and how tight do the brackets hold it? or are they just addtional support instead of fixings? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I am wondering what the best double sided tape is to refit a Freelander 2 Spoiler I am watching on eBay

It has a fixing kit which includes a bracket but they are also have the Double sided tape which has been peeled off with it been removed from a car

I don't think you can not reorder the tape or brackets so if i am the winning bidder i would need to get the best tape possible.

I have had various tapes in the past but these all fail when it comes the summer and the weather gets hot, but these have been used for sticking things inside the car. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Not sure about the adhesive strips. Should have brackets for mine early next week so will try and answer that part of your question then. (Brian might be able to help before then.) DT
