'Staged' ? very convenient to have a car following with camera on ?, flips and avoids damaging any parked cars?

the guy in the car with the video camera didn't sound too! surprised.

In the aerial view when the mesh "exploded up" there was a "half barrel" connected to it - where else would you put the explosive charges??? 2002 Honda VFR800

Staged to me, back end seems to be launched and the hole would be cleared by the vehicle at that speed, leaving a burst tyre and buckled rim but that video is way over the top for my thinking.

I wouldnt have though a front wheel going down the hole would cause it to somersault in that type of manner, more like it would cause it to swerve to one side and then roll, or just plain rip the front suspension off.
Pity it wasnt carrying anyone important like the KGB.

The left wheels just clear the side of the hole so the right would be well clear and none could have fallen in. The security video (which I am suspcious about, its not watching anything in particular) clearly shows what could be a blast ram tube coming to rest in front of the vehicle bonnet. It appears to be at 45deg because the grid is still attached.

However I have seen similar action of a vehicle on video where the front end of a prop shaft came adrift. It dug into the road and because of the speed of the vehicle lifted it into the air. It is just possible the grid is attached to the tube in the manhole to stop it moving and was flipped up as the car passed over and caught in the transmission.

However is it coincidence that the following vehicle had a camera, how prevalent are they in the country. The security camera seems to have ro specific purpose and has part of its view blocked by the tree. Prog rock is cool! Smile

It does look a tad bit staged, maybe for a movie or tv series

Unless the mesh caught on the front axle and the attached tube was very securely fastened

Staged - otherwise how was the sound recorded that high if the mic was not mounted outside the following vehicle Question

I wonder what the reason was for wrecking a FL2 Question - If I hadnt known better I would have suggested it was the Norwegian motoring press trying to discredit our loved vehicle yet again Whistle 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Flight of a Freelander

A manhole cover sends a Freelander flying and flipping upside down... nasty stuff!
