'Staged' ? very convenient to have a car following with camera on ?, flips and avoids damaging any parked cars?

Staged to me, back end seems to be launched and the hole would be cleared by the vehicle at that speed, leaving a burst tyre and buckled rim but that video is way over the top for my thinking. |

Its possible to do this but the cover would of been sticking up fair and the driver should of seen it. Driver may be Drunk, drugged or both |

I wouldnt have though a front wheel going down the hole would cause it to somersault in that type of manner, more like it would cause it to swerve to one side and then roll, or just plain rip the front suspension off.

The left wheels just clear the side of the hole so the right would be well clear and none could have fallen in. The security video (which I am suspcious about, its not watching anything in particular) clearly shows what could be a blast ram tube coming to rest in front of the vehicle bonnet. It appears to be at 45deg because the grid is still attached.

It does look a tad bit staged, maybe for a movie or tv series

Staged - otherwise how was the sound recorded that high if the mic was not mounted outside the following vehicle

A manhole cover sends a Freelander flying and flipping upside down... nasty stuff!
