You will need to careful with that, TA very desirable by certain sections of the community, I've had one go missing in the night, i would would be concerned if I had a TA it would vanish also. I'm always careful since my van was tried to be stolen when it was new, never leave the car and van alone when stopping at services, and keep it at a gold secure site

TA? Far too many associations with p ys for me. Awful when towing too - too much pitching. Also, unwelcome in French campsites for same p y reasons. They expect you to have a white van too. But in your case, pinky, you are nearly there! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I followed a fl2 sd4 over hard knot and rynose a few days ago, We stopped in Eskdale and the poor fl2's brakes stank to high heaven, the 'sports' brakes were described as warm. New to this vanning thing ... What are the stabillisers for the van or the freelander ?? and does the 2 extra wheels make the combination too wide for the road ...??? Wales Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper. TA means twin axle so width the same, i think you were thinking of twin wheeled like the back of a heavy duty pickup truck. |

1.keep it that way 2. a vain attempt to make the van stable at speeds over 40 mph. basically a friction damper at the tow ball to counter the big, wide aerodynamically blunt caravans natural tendency to sway and rock ,sometimes violently. the more sensible solution would be to lower the roof and add weight to the lower parts of the caravan (then build a low wall around it plant some shrubs, build a path?) 3. Should have said ALKO ATC Stabiliser system, which is a electronic system which applies brakes when it sways left to right, to straighten it back up, this is along with the Alko friction based towball hitch
