You will notice a big difference with the Shock Absorbers, can't think of any reason not to have them fitted in the first place at the factory other than manufacturing penny pinching.

Mrs P is ok with swap, the money needs looking at, £1500-£2000 for mover and £1700 cost for awning is been pondered on now too ontop of the cost to swap the van. Confused

the Isabella awning is going to need to be replaced as it going up a fair few sizes 975 to 1075 on the new van. I don't fancy having it altered as I think it might look a bit too wedge shaped as hey extend the rear not the front.

Been looking on the well know auction site and there is not many 1075 (1061-1085cm) for sale, but a few 1050 (1036-1060cm) which cod turn into a good deal.

What I am thinking is a 1050 going up to 1060cm, it will be 6cm too short, or 3 cm each side, will the gray mud flaps not cover this area? or are these taken into account on the measurements?

If a good deal 1050 coud be found it might be worth having Isabella alter it to the next size up anyway as I read they cold charge about £200 to do this Question

Just thought I would ask for your thoughts Very Happy (queue CG & Co Arrow )

The ends of a 1050-1060 will be a bit short I guess - rubber bands will be on stretch!. An awning that size could easily be extended to exactly fit your new van. Canvas Repair Centre, Burton did mine at reasonable cost. Less than the £200 you quoted anyway. I'm not really a fan of Isabellas though - good awnings but way overpriced IMO. I have a Bradcot Classic with alloy quick-poles. A doddle! And British made, like our cars and vans! Thumbs Up 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

just been looking at awnings, can't believe that on a price of £1749, they only had £50 movement Laughing But then they would trade in my old isabella as well which brings it down a little

Going to shop round and see what other say dealers, also going to look in to a near new 1050 size and costs to change to a 1075

I have got the Bradcot brochure and will compare too Thumbs Up , my old porch awning was a bradcot and had their easy pole system, but that was nowhere near as good or as strong as the Isabella one i had.

Anyway the deal on the caravan is done, just waiting on delivery and costs of power movers quotes to be worked out
