Anyone tried h7 or h11 headlight bulbs for their dipped beams ? Thanks |

They won't work.....well when I say wont work, you will be seen but the light output will be so dismal you will not see much.

Standard H7 55w lamp is about 1500 lumens, it is quite easy to achieve this and more with led, as long as the construction of the reflector/lens is optimal you will get a decent light output.

My brother in law (farmer) bought an ex army Landrover some years ago and it still had its Infra Red headlights fitted. Unfortunately he didn't have the night vision goggles to go with it so not very useful and also a bit dangerous to drive in the dark.

Hi Fitted LED bulbs using these things they slot in to hold bulbs like wire clips available on ebay same as Ford Mondeo. Use bulbs with what look like tail feathers to keep them cool got mine from Amazon they give amazing light..
