The day that I pull up to a pitch and have to unhook and get on a pitch with the mover is the day I pack it in. Saying that I had a mover fitted to the current van as when I put it on the drive it involves a reversing up hill and at the time I had a Manual Freely that's why I bought the mover, prior to that, reversing it up the hill with the TD5 on tick over was an absolute doddle. |

Clutch was faulty, nothing to do with towing. It had the usual slip between 1800 and 2100 rpm then no further problems. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Got to be an auto for towing. Both our Land Rovers are autos, and towing the caravan with either is no problem at all!

I tow with a manual. My only complaint is that the rubbish handbrake can make hill starts very interesting. Would not be a problem with an auto. 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black |
