Bit off topic but I was wondering if other members have a noise coming from the front brakes when stopping and again when releasing the foot brake peddle, bit hard to describe sound like an "urh" the loaner I had on service had a similar sound but less audible, maybe it's normal?

I'm driving an TD4 HSE auto 2008...

the brake caliper to wheel knuckle bolts - are these the main bolts that screw the caliper body to the suspension arm? do they need replacing every time you undo them?

Same problem

I have 2011 HSE sd4 and also have the same problem. Sometimes it goes away on its own but do come back in due course. Workshop said this is normal for new car ( just have 3000 km) .

Will really be interested in the solution if anyone has. Free bird

Genuine front pads ..

When you buy these, do they come with the replacement bolts and clips?
When I ordered rear ones they did.

Just wondered.

Thanks in advance

I've changed the rear brake pads and discs on mine and the torque setting I used is simply "tight" Laughing

I also have the noise from the front brakes sometimes MikeC, I think it's normal.
