High level brake light bulb

Found out it doesn't work so went to get a new bulb at local dealers and they hadn't got one - in fact sparesman said they'd never had one in stock. Halfords didn't have one either - denied all knowledge of a 16w bulb. So I suppose its back to the dealers and order it. Incidentally, would it be an MOT fail ?

Halfords do stock them it is just that they are not listed in their catalogues or on the 'puter!
Look for the 16W with a bayonet type fitting as opposed to the round fitting.
Incidentally you will probably need a spare clip for when you try and refit the body work as one of the three that holds it in place always snaps or bends, luckily they cost about 20p. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?
