Thought there would have been a few posts on this topic but didn't find much.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of car seat covers?

There are one or two on the web -http://www.carseatcovers.co.uk/ or Inka (on eBay) - that look good but I was wondering what others are using.

A few quid - about 500 of them for 2 seat covers!

They do look good though.

I bought these recently, just to get a back seat cover for when there's no room in the boot for the dog.

Nothing special, but they do the job.

I used one of the front seat covers for the passenger's seat of my MGF so she can ride in it too.  garioch43

Whatever brand of seat cover you buy don't put your life and others at risk by buying cheapo seat overs that block or hinder the operation of the front seats' side airbag release. Penny pinching my cost you serious injury or even your life

The official LR ones are excellent: safe, hard wearing, simple to clean, water and oil proof. It takes about an hour to dress all seats, head and arm rests front and back. Plus, they do cost a fair few £££

She's a 7 month old Australian Shepherd called Ruby.

A real character and loads of fun. Very happy in the Freelander, but LOVES being in the MG with the roof down. garioch43

Now this is a proper dog - Bertie with his ears ripped to shreds from giving chase to rabbits through the brambles. He obviously didn't read Brer Rabbit.

I have a set of the Inka ones from ebay.

They are very good.

The patterns include air-bag flaps etc, and they are TuV approved from memory. Albeit I have them in a VW Cali.

The company is actually an OEM supplier for many vehicles & certainly are for VW. They sell the ones direct on e-bay with the same pattern as the OEM ones, but with slightly different (shinier) material, as they can't use the exact same stuff due to contracts etc.

I only know this as the VW Cali club have a discount deal with Inka & I have spoken to them directly.

Keep your eye on ebay as genuine FL2 Landrover covers often come up, I managed to get both front (2nd hand) & rear (new) in two seperate auctions for under £100.00 - bargin

I've seen the inka ones on eBay and they look very good and are only £40. Somehow that seems cheap against carseatcovers which are £100 or the genuine LR ones.

At the moment inka don't do a rear seat cover with centre arm rest.

Are the inka ones just too cheap or are they actually really good VFM?

Happens a lot with dog chasing rabbits in to brambles, obviously you don't set out for it to happen, but it does and you do your best to prevent it, ears, tails paws etc

Though it does look a little like those sheep markers those rams wear, now that's something I would put a stop too

Poor dog, but they should be kept on a lead when out of the house, which would save your wildlife from suffering.
