I use the LandRover rubbers for winter use and cheap mats off Amazon for summer protection. There are various grades and pile thicknesses on Amazon or similar sites and it's reflected in the price.
The cheaper sets are cardboard thick but does the job of protecting the carpet. I throw them away each year and purchase another set for about £12 and they are a tailored cut.

I've always used www.cyberspares.co.uk, some nice options and very quick delivery.
Not the cheapest place in the world, but good quality. 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual

I use the genuine carpet mats which are just great but I do protect them in the winter with some plastic ones that you can buy in a well known supermarket for 97 p ! This gives me the best of both worlds. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

Yep, that's me I went to the Shooting Show in Newark last Saturday, I stopped short of the plus fours, but in a moment of madness bought a pair of brown leather boots which fall into the " hide the receipt" class Thumbs Up I got the carpet mats from the dealers demonstrator, as my "last turn of the screw " when I bought the car they are still in the boot too nice to put mucky feet on ! 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I've been working away all week and before I went I was instructed to re-order vac bags and filters forthe german super vac , so onto e-bay i went, problem was 2 parcels have arrived and the first one she opened was a " snow foam gun" with invoice Rolling with laughter I've no real interest in washing the cars but after all the recommendations I've seen on here i though it might be just the job for the bike wheels (which before you ask why ? would make a full set of 20" freelander wheels and tyres seen cheap so deserve lavish attention) Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
