I have just found your forum. Can anyone help? I have a trusty Freelander 1 Commercial which has done some 65K miles and needs replacing. I understand LR will not be producing a commercial version in the near future. Can anyone recommend a professional conversion dealer that does not affect the LR warranty.
Alternatively we are happy to do the conversion ourselves if we could obtain the parts. Are these parts official LR products and can you order them from a dealer?
Any help would be greatful as this would just be the best 'Van' in the world.

I've got a FL2 Commercial with 130K on the clock, still going strong.
Lakeland Landrover do a full Commercial conversion on new Freelanders, very good to deal with

I have already contacted them to be quoted �2K for a conversion which seemed a liitle steep.
if we could get the parts we would do the conversion ourselves.

I would speak to Nick (Parts Manager at Yeovil LR) - also know as TLO - The Large One - if he cannot get it then its not gettable

Surely after removal of the rear seats it's a case of nipping down to B&Q for a few sheets of plywood, then doing some magic with the 'jigsaw'.
After that some window tints then adapt the space to how you want it. �500 tops, sell the seats for �150 ends up with job done for �350.

Resale privately will fetch a good price from someone wanting something different.
