Snow chains

Just about to take delivery of my new FL2 SE Stornaway grey. Cant wait. Razz
Going to France skiing in 2 weeks and wondered if anyone tell me if i need snow chains and if so what do you recommend.

I know its a legal requirement to carry them, just wondered if i needed to.

Will post my reaction when the FL2 is delivered Wednesday.

Thanks

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Fuji White

Welcome!!!!!

Search is your freind here my friend, there's a current thread here http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic1413.html

And a search might bring up some more.

As far as snow chains bo it's a no-no for standard ones (i think) but it seems winter tyres are the way forward and potentially cheaper than very expensive spider spyke snowchain alternatives.

somebody will be along shortly to confirm/deny this

Joe

PS I know it's legal to carry the chains in parts of the alps. MY11 Fuji white Td4 150 GS straight up no mixer.
