I suppose the solution to that is the often "shown in photo's" boot attachment which makes the door shaped to match the bumper mouldings. 2002 Honda VFR800

climb in the back and push with feet while wife unlocks....worked for me |

Thanks geoffk, hadn't thought of that one, perhaps LR should engineer better drainage in this area, I have noticed when you wash it water always pools along this area. |

the rubber button on the boot often freezes up and wont work so i just have to open the boot with the keyfob. |
