Exactly what is the problem?
I only have problems when it is very wet, the sensors can't cope with heavy rain drops on them and emit a continuous beep. Not long after we had 'Betty' my wife turned the sensors off one rainy day as it was annoying her and promptly backed into a lamp post! Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

as far as i know the official tech repair is not to renew sensors but to pack sensor connections/ plugs with petrolium jelly or vasaliene to you and me just had mine done all seems to be ok now Thumbs Up rainy-city

Anyone direct me to (or show me) a display of the wiring diagram for the Park Aid ECU located in the load space area left side behind the black plastic trim panel - beneath rear side window. LR technical document anyone? I want to see what that ECU looks like.

I jet wash mine and sensors have never given any trouble even in the wet weather, the only time they went off when they werent supposed to was traced to a squashed fly on one of the front sensors. Rolling Eyes It was warning me Id just flattened a fly!

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

Hi, new here and spotted this thread as we've problems with a car we've just bought.

The parking sensors don't seem to work at all, the car emits a long beep on start up and when reverse gear is engaged the PDC light on the dash just flashes? Reading the handbook this is the sign of a fault?

Anyone offer any simple try and fix solution? Thanks in advance, Ian.

Mine play up occasionally. I just give them a good clean, and then drench them in a silicone spray. They then behave for a few months. Then I repeat the process! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
