United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Izmir Blue

Ordered new wiper blades from www.wiperblades.com.uk at 16.20 yesterday afternoon, arrived this morning by post at 7.50. Two fronts and the rear replaced in under 5 mins. The rear arm hooks around the blade's central swivel boss. To release there is a lug under which you push in with a small screw driver to release the blade and allows to slide off. The new one then just slides back on until it clicks in place. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges

I noticed that the rear wiper is different on my 2011 HSE to older models. I don't know if it wipes better than the old ones, but it certainly looks better than the old one IMO.

To be honest I thought the LR rear wiper was a bit of a letdown and looked cheap unlike the fronts, I opted for one of these.

On the pics you posted, the top piece looks much smaller than that on the wiper blade I have got but I will investigate further tomorrow.

Although I have just looked again and I think it's just a case of can't see the wood for the trees. I think it will be fine so I assume then that this different design is a better and more effective wiper than the old design. It is the same style as the front one's.

Cheers Thumbs Up

I have this wiper on my car and I have to say that it wipes very well, even with dirty water on the rear window from spray.

I looked on their and I has a good choice of makes. What make did you choose? I'd pick Bosch.

Yes I agree. If you read Auto Express test report which they give on their web page, it says that their own make was only beaten by Bosh, which made me chose Bosh. They are still wiping like new. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges

My MY11 has flat wipers on the front but crappy looking conventional one on the back. Is that right?
I should just go to the local Waitrose car park and look at somebody else's FL2 Laughing 11 SD4 HSE Stornoway Grey / Black Windsor Leather

Is it an early MY11? If it is it will have the old rear blade. The new rear blade on on later MY11s.
