I'm a registered user of topix.
Well, can you help me with that cause i can't figure it out where more is placed. Tried to look on each tab.
Here is my vin SALFA28B07H057831
Can you put in here a print screen of what it specifies on "more" option?
Thanks.
Looking fw for your answer

I put your VIN into the system and unfortunately Topix will not release a detailed vehicle feature list. I am now guessing, but perhaps for example, LR only started adding the detailed production build data after a certain Model Year?

My dear lady's FL2 was built in October 2009 and is a 2010 model and when I look at her VIN and enter that it offers the "more" data feature in the "Vehicle Features" panel (the "more" tab is located bottom left of that VF panel.)

Your FL2 is a 2007 build, so perhaps some other Freel2.com member(s) could help here and enter their VIN's MY08 or MY09 to try and determine when LR started adding this extra production build data.

I'm sorry I cannot be of more assistance.

Very Impressed Alex.

I won't ask how you obtained the data Whistle

So your countryman had AHL but no Xenons or AFS when built.

Salut, Alex, thanks a lot.
As the doc says, I see that indeed my car have DYNAMIC HEADLAMP LEVELING.
Wich means that the beam lights should level themselves ( up and down ) when starting the lights, right?

Thanks again for the detailed info. Very useful Smile

Nope, mine's the same and doesn't do it, like I've told you.
In the end, did you made the test? It corrects the level when you load/press on the boot?
And what about the driver's window?

Apologies for my huge delay, my elderly mum fell and dislocated her shoulder so had to travel to sort that lot out…

My info is gathered via Microcat. Whistle

My results say your car has High Intensity Discharge Headlamps (064DB) with Automatic Headlamp Levelling (Dynamic headlamp Levelling 064BR), (as the zip file then…)

So I'd say you DO have the best headlamp setup in my humble opinion...

Hope this helps…

PS. Correct me if I'm wrong folkes but I thought HID and Xenons were one and the same thing???
or at least they are according to Wikipedia!!! 57 HSE AUTO with H.I.D's - Grey with Black leather. (H.S.E. Heightadjustable Seats Extra Sad )

Salve
No, I didn't manage to do the test, but tonight I'll do it and post here the result.

Oh yes, with the window, the same, the previous owner told me that he was replaced some bulb lights inside & outside the car (driver's and passanger interior lamps and tail plate number). He replaced with some made in china LED bulbs Shocked , and then suddenly the driver's window won't come up with one push of a buton , now, you have to maintain your finger up to close the window.
I've replaced the interios bulbs with bulbs specified in the owner's book, but still, nothing. I'm going to replace also those rear plate number bulbs, but I don't hope that this will undo the problem Mad

thanks Thumbs Up

I've told you on the Romanian section which is the reset procedure for the window(s).
Did you tried without success?
There is also in the MY2007 Handbook, at page 94.

They are gusmagoo and bucuresti77; you were both quiet right and I got confused and made a mistake referencing "Xenons" in my previous post due to my technical incompetence - sorry Bow down

All done!
I've made a test on an elevated plan , in front of a wall and in deed it is functioning ! The beams adapt themselves ( on the vertical ) depending on elevation.
So, to conclude, everything is ok and functional, even if the beams don't start with the up & down movement and then to resume on the neutral horizontal position.
There was important for me to confirm that they are adapting themselves as the terrain elevation requires to.

Thanks to you all for the kind support Thumbs Up

Have a nice day/evening Wink

Glad you're happy now, I'm sure mine work properly even though I haven't really noticed the same things that you expected to find.
I remember seeing a few cars shift left and right or up and down when the lights first lit but just saw it as a bit of a gimmick! (think Audis A8 or A5's do it!!!)
At the end of the day your headlights are about as good as they get! Thats the imprtant thing! Take care! Thumbs Up 57 HSE AUTO with H.I.D's - Grey with Black leather. (H.S.E. Heightadjustable Seats Extra Sad )
