Estonia 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

Does anyone know the location of beam leveling sensors? Front one of my car does not function properly, the headlights are in their lowest position.

They are both on the left side of the car.
The front one is connected to the lower arm of the suspension.
Just turn fully left the steering wheel and go to the front left wheel and look at the suspension's lower arm from the front of the car.

Could there be another reason why the headlamps are still pointing low? At my last service the dealer told me that the front levelling sensor is broken. They were right, the plastic arm that connects to the suspension arm was broken. I've replaced the sensor but still the headlamps are pointing to low. I've randomly seen them on normal level once or twice but mostly they only light up about 30-40 feet in front of the car regardless of speed. The car is equipped with AFS but does this mean that the head lamp levelling is dynamic and the car adjusts the beam height only when car has gained enough speed?

In my head I can think of two things to check - is the new sensor working properly or is there some calibration procedure required? Both require a visit to the dealer. Is there another known fault with the system or do I neet to see the dealer again?
