need advise on EBC pads Red VS Greenstaff

Anyone can tell if the Greenstaff EBC pads are low-dust? I presently have Redstaff pads, but don't like their diminished bite compared to OEM pads. I was thinking of changing to Greenstaff 7000 series, but don't know if they will bring the dust with them.

Thanx

I think they will bring dust, but less than standard. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

Hi!
The greenstuff pads have less dust then the redstuff I think.
Also the redstuff pads are not good for normal car use as they need a lot of heat to work good.
The greenstuff will work better for you I think.

Can't imagine redstuff being the right type of pad for a freelander as others have said it requires a lot of work to get up to temperature . Its a brake for high performance road and track use from what i recall from the EBC site. I have them fitted on a 3.0 Z4 and they are great on that but i would have though there are better pads for an FL2. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Definitely green would be better suited over the red. You've got to be up to temperature and hard on braking for the reds to be of real benefit. I doubt you'd see the benefit of reds outside of a track day really (in a FL2!). 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual
