Agree with landy - when I grew up there was no "american" turkey and we had proper roast chicken. Then somebody had to copy the American's again and introduce to Europe factory farmed turkey which is as palatable as a cardbord box.

Whatever you buy, get it from your local butcher, not yer supermarket. Use 'em or lose 'em! We use Taylors of Bottesford, local to us. Can't beat 'em! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

No he doesn't...he gets Chicken from his butcher, it's a 20 mile round trip but well worth it, a good butcher is essential I support him even though I moved further away.
