No, a dealer won't/can't edit the CCF to do this. |

hi I am thinking of a xenon upgrade. Is the xenon balast built into the headlight ? also, does it use the same connector as halogen lights, just wanted to make sure I know what I need before I start the mini project |

are the self leveling motors not built into the headlamps? I would assume they are? If so would it not be possible to fit the leveling sensors (or infact is the wiring already there to do so?) to enable this feature.

Indeed the motors are there and they are driven by the voltage generated by the little module that it's used for manually adjusting the height.

Would be good to hear if anyone has successfully done this and how hard it was to do, the AFS sounds good but I could take it or leave it in fairness, as was pointed out the new MOT regs require auto levelling for Xenon Lights, washers arent an issue as the FL's have this anyway. 2007 '57' Freelander 2 XS Sumatra Black TD4 Automatic - Standard (for now!) |
