Has my 2007 freelander 2 got a DVD player?

Hi guys, new to the forum so go easy please. I recently brought a freelander 2007 SE. I was fitting a pair of side steps, when I saw a DVD player under the drivers seat. The disc inside was for the sat nav when I put a normal DVD in nothing happened. So I assume it's just for the sat nav or am I able to play DVDs through it?

I believe one can install GVIF and then a DVD player to have the video broadcast to the dash mounted screen
