Hi all!

Long time lurker, decided to finally register as hopefully within the next 6 months I'll be getting a FL2 if all goes well.

Shall be posting a more thorough post in a bit as the missus and I have a variety of questions and queries which I'm sure you chaps will be able to answer.

new to here but not new to landrover currently have a Range Rover P38,its long in the tooth and hopefully will be upgraded to a Freelander at some point

Not sure if you are getting new or used, if used I would wait until winter has passed and the sun comes out, there will be lots more choice and lower prices

Just to say hi from NZ...I have a 2008 Freelander TD4 and love it (most of the time). Not many people have them here so can't get much advice about a problem with our boot not opening. Hope to find some info on here.

Hey guys, had my FL2 for a few months now and thought I would register on here, been browsing a few times and seems like a great forum.

Had a Focus ST3 tuned up pretty highly before the LR so bit of a change for me all this lol, was pretty active over on the www.focusstoc.com though, was the NW regional co-ord for a number of years. Anything like that over here?

Very interested in changing the halogen lights for Xenon ones as my Focus had those and I miss them so much! lol. Also very tempted to do the 2011 facelift upgrade BUT I would like to change the wheels first as I have the std 17" rims and to be fair they look very small on such a large car, again the Focus had 19's on low profiles so its fair to say this beast is different in near enough every conceivable way, that said I wouldn't go back to the ST, was a great car for the time but I had it for over 5 years, thats long enough for any car! lol

Well look forward to your advice, meeting some new friends and getting some new idea's for my FL2 from you guys

Welcome along, I too did a similar thing, I had a new mini cooper s spent loads on it,had lowerd different wheels strut braces body kit and all that, then moved to a fl2 had ours for three months now and loving the move, no regrets so far,

Been perusing the site whilst looking for FL2. Thought that now I have made the plunge and made a purchase that I would sign up. Have brought an 11 plate XS (early Dec) and I am very pleased so far . Thanks to all who have conributed to the site, some interesting reading.

Hi Folks,

Made the plunge late september with a HSE Freelander 2. Absolutely amazed with the vehicle, driving to north wales every weekend is now a pleasure. That arm rest and cruise control is bloody amazing.
I do however own an RB320 Subaru impreza too, but thats my summer car as the fuel cost is crazy.
