When you are descending a hill under HDC control (forward or reverse) and the track is smooth enough to enable you to speed up a bit, press and hold the cruise control + button on the steering wheel to speed up and - to slow down. It will go up to about 10-12 MPH.

You will know if its working by the unique sounds heard on a downward steep slop as each wheel is constantly braked and unbraked to keep traction |

Thanks guys - you're right, of course...I've tried mine out on my 07 manual now and HDC does seem to work in R, 1st, 2nd and I think i 3rd (and Neutral) - despite the flashing light and warning message - that'll teach me to believe what it tells me! |
