i have done snowdonia and peckfortan castle, i was very impressed with both but snowdonia was by far the better of the two but that in no way means peckfortan is low rated. The thing is snowdonia was just a great test for the car..

Nothing ! if you get a voucher from a main dealer, they gave us one when we bought the (used) car a few months back. best part was the voucher entitled me to " up to 3 people" so we got the instructor and 2011 HSE Freelander to ourselves. The price for the 4 hour " experience " if you buy it is £195 per person I believe , and you might end up sharing the car so it's a pricey thing.

I'm sure some of the regulars on here can suggest ways to get a voucher for free, it's a good experience but I can think of better experiences I could have with two hundred quid Laughing 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Sole use of a Freelander 2 is about £250 + VAT for you and 2 guests if you pay full price.

You can also use Tesco Vouchers.

Always worth calling LR Customer Services and saying you're interested in buying a Freelander and any chance of a half day experience.
Some dealers are offering half days if you do a test drive.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Galway Green

I've done two half days at Peckforton, 1st in a Freelander, won on YouTube. 2nd in a Disco 4, again free from Conway Landorver won on Twitter. On both occasions I was very impressed with the vehicles, the site and the staff.

Like the it says in the OP, our instructor was full of praise for the Freelander and it proved more than capable of handling anything thrown at it.

They had two Evoques there when we went, Silver for the mud, and purple/blue for the road Thumbs Up they look nice close up, shame a) I can't justify buying one, cash b) the tax as a company car works out twice my present motor,

I think they are just the thing to finish off my mid life crisis, before I descend into senility....... 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Snowdonia has closed as an Experience Centre although I believe the tracks are still used by Cheshire for more advanced off road courses. I also understand most of the instructors moved to Cheshire.
