I've just bought a new torch to walk to the pub with an led lenser P6. cripes its bright, only 2 AA batteries but you would not want to look into the lens , it hurts, a lot.

note to self , do not look into the lens ever again. and read the safety label on the torch that states "do not look into lens" At work

You should have bought 2 of the head mounted version.

One to face forward so you can see where you are going.

The second to face backwards to blind anyone approaching from behind Whistle 2002 Honda VFR800

"also bought the P14, 210 Lumens with only four AA batteries, it's like handheld Xenons." At last, a solution for aethelstan's adaptive Xenon's problem..... a couple of swivel mounts and some string attached to the steering wheel. He could spray them to colour code as well....... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

Goodness me, we don't get this sort of thing happening here in South London. The Peckham lads are much too busy shooting each other. Hope you are fully recovered CG. Must remember to put my foot down hard next time I'm going up the A1. Dangerous place Yorkshire. Shocked
