I hope i'm not tempting fate by saying this but I LOVE MINE.
My last car was a Jaguar xtype that i bought new but i didnt love it as much as my FL2 that is 2 years old. I cant believe i love a 2 year old vehicle more than the one i collected new.

Coming January (wow, that's next month ) I have had my FL2 for 4 years, and I still love & admire the car. So yes, here is one happy Freelander owner.  2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

Yeah Im happy with mine. A few niggles but nothing major and mostly sorted under warranty. Main complaints are with dealer customer service rather than the vehicle itself.

Done everything I have wanted of it. Played in the mud once and was fine. No mods in anyway and impressed a few die hards with heavily modified RR's and Disco's (granted it couldnt do everything those cars did but for a standard vehicle with normal tyres it left a few converts that day).

Still waiting to see how it fares in the snow as this was the main reason I brought one. But so far so good.

Have to say that I am very happy with my SD. No probs whatsoever. Long may it continue

I've had my HSE Td4 since the end of September and simply love driving it! The Freelander is one of the best cars I have had as far as comfort and ease of driving is concerned. Yes, I have had a couple of niggles sorted by the dealer but you get that with any car. My previous FL2 was the i6 petrol version - great car but shame about fuel economy. Having said that with the price of diesel V. petrol these days there cant be much in it as far as running costs are concerned! 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Got mine in May when it was a year old. So far I'm really happy with it. Would I buy another? Ask me in a couple of years.

Generally happy with my SD4 GS after 9,000 miles and 9 months. Up to 36 mpg on the longer runs. Only niggle is the whistle sound on acceleration, but usually the radio covers that up Hoping for some snow...
