I haven't no. I've been on a course all day and only just got back. I meant to get it out of the glovebox and check it tonight but forgot and I don't fancy going out to the garage now I'm inside and warm. Andyfr |

I've just had a glance through and can only find a reference to "if the system can't engage a special program it will warn you" but doesn't state whether the warning is visual or beeps. 2002 Honda VFR800

......so if the beeps were to warn you the TR was not working then maybe you would have noticed it (no difference in the TR mode function) 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

That's the thing though, it did say the correct messages for the mode I had selected. Andyfr |

But if the TR had changed then you would have noticed (felt the difference) in the performance/handeling. For ex. if you put it in the Sand mode it will perform similar to if it was in a sport mode and you would surely notice the difference - not just accept what mode it tells you its in. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. In all fairness, if I select GGS there is barely a difference, especially if the conditions are slippery as I tend to be driving quite steadily anyway. It affects the throttle response which on very light throttles you will not really notice, the 4wd balanced across all wheels rather than to the rear makes the steering go a little heavier, although in snow you may not notice this.

Can't say I have ever noticed the steering become heavier. |
