My wife bought a 2011 MY SD4 XS out of the show room last Christmas from Hunters Southampton, we love it well built and great performance.

It has the standard XS electric seats but no arm rests. She wishes she had been patient and specced them on a factory order now. I have managed to get hold of the armrests, but not all the other mounting components though our local dealer can order these for me.

So here is the question has any one successfully retrofitted the arm rests to a 2011 MY SD4 XS? If so, is it a simple matter of purchasing all the components, removing the seat cover and fitting the items?

I don't intend to do it myself, I will have Seat Surgeons do it as they have done great work on a leather retrofit to a Disco 3 we had. But I only want to give them the work knowing the seat frame under the seat trim is compatible, as a whole new seat frame is a very expensive option. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury Corris Grey

frames didnt used to have the mountings, on dutch member got his especially adapted, but the armrest wernt an option at all on XS in those dark days, so youve got more chance.
