2010 TD4_e intercooler

Hi All,

I'm from OZ and just purchased a freelander 2 TD4_e 2010 model.

I noticed that this model doesn't have an intercooler.

Has anyone installed 1 or is it neccessary to install 1?

THanks,

Strictly speaking, it's a Ford / PSA joint venture, built in Dagenham.

I think you've all misunderstood crazym3 and led him somewhat "up the garden path" or in CG's case, across a fallow field.

The fellow is clearly not cubed, as the "3" in question is NOT used as a superscript following his m.

However his "m" is mischievous as it could be interpreted correctly in five distinct values, that being: three as a linear measure two metric and one imperial (milli- & metre plus mile), one a measure of time (minute), finally energy m = mutual inductance. It is the latter that I favour as being in his mindset as it relates to energy as in motive force i.e. a car. But that brings us back to resolving his "3".

If we are to assume (for we have no proof) that the chap is a disciple of Leonardo Fibonacci, adopting the fibonacci 3 then used a base of a natural logarithm the value actually being 2.718 282 (the prime number 3 being used as 2.718 282 makes for a awfully long tailgate badge) we come to the conclusion that our man crazym3, a professor of regenerative energy, has revealed unto us the rational behind his two exhausts under the seats (see his other thread) of his FL2 TD4-e.

He has a hybrid Freelander - powered by the electromotive force created by the change of current in his neighbouring circuits(one under each seat) i.e the "mutual inductance" factored on the fibonacci scale.

Friends snigger not - the lad's not crazy - he's a genius.
