Insert the Fob and without touching the clutch pedal manual or the brake pedal on the superior Auto, just hold down the start button for 3 or 4 seconds and the ignition only will light up. |

With the key fob inserted, press and hold the stop/start button without pressing the foot brake on automatic car (I presume clutch on manual cars?)

With the fob inserted a quick press of the starter button switches on the Satnav & radio so you can pre plan your journey.

Nooooh, think of the carbon footprint with the manufacturing process involved of having to replace the clutch twice in a lifetime, the smelting foundry in overdrive making the dual mass flywheels, the grease industry for when the manual goes all clunky and hard to change gear, the internals that are at their limit of torque capacity.

Not being able to open the windows at any time is a “design feature” that arrived with electric windows I believe and not just LR related

No no no, manual better for the Flywheel and Clutch Manufacturer and for keeping the workshops at the dealer busy, so better for the enviroment not so in the long but better for the UK economy |
